Leo Dark Moon

Greetings of the Moon dark (exact at 1542 pdt) and Beginning Radiant Leo time.

And what a sweet Moon it is.

Sun, Moon and expansive Jupiter all in Leo. Jupiter conjuncts the new Moon.

Saturn has gone direct so now things start flowing more smoothly, moving out of the last 4 retrograde months where things moved slowly or seemed to stand still.

Also, (as of yesterday) Mars has finally left Libra and re-enters its home sign of Scorpio. Released! Systems Go! Yippee!

AND there’s a grand water trine of Venus in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio, and Neptune in Pisces and added compassion and understanding from Venus and Mars trine Neptune.

What an inspired and optimistic beginning to the this new cycle! Fire, creation, expansion. Key word: Radiance!

As we sit here in Moon dark it is the moment when all things are possible.

Here it has been raining these past few days as if Nature hirself is preparing for Moon dark. Rains cleansing the air, nourishing the soils, drumming on roof and deck and canvas. Skies releasing, rains drumming, waters soaking in. A calling for us to do the same.

It is time to rest in the stillness of the dark.

Time to breathe in the empty fullness of the void.

A place of stillness and possibility.

A place for listening and opening to receive.

Time to drift gently in to the expansiveness.

Time to invite the light to radiate within and around you/us.

Time also to think of Hummingbirds (they have been frequent visitors recently). They are bringers of Joy. Now Leo comes with playfulness and courage, and radiance. Jupiter brings expansiveness. Invite in their messages.

Look inside a raindrop for the visions there held.

Seek the sparkles in the sky.

What will be lit up as the Moon grows this cycle?

It is time now to wonder. To breathe in the vastness of the dark and notice what comes forth from therein. A sparkling star. A soft refrain. An effervescent touch. A golden scent. A taste of love and magic.

All within you: the wonder, the sparkling, the heart drum, the effervescent coursing of nerve fluids, the gold, the love, the magic.

Rest in this cosmic Earth truth of you. Open to this natural Being of you and receive hir messages and invitations. Wonder at the possibilities and which of these you will choose in the coming days to seed and nourish and bring forth this cycle.

Last Quarter Moon

Greetings of the half lit (1908h pdt) waning Moon!

Was the full Moon time full for you? Did it and you spill over in fullness? Have you been catching up and catching your breathe? Are you ready now for the further waning?

Moon half lit. Light and dark to consider. Time now for releasing, for beginning preparations for slowing and moving inward.

Jupiter has moved from Cancer (water/feeling) to Leo (fire/action) and will be conjunct with the Sun early next week. Saturn in Scorpio goes direct. Uranus is going retrograde. Mercury moves in to oppose Pluto. Much is in play.

Saturn calls us into form, structure, boundaries, and external expression. Uranus going retrograde pulls us towards inner insights and enlightenment.

Yes! Balance outer expressions with inner explorations. The energies are expansive. Invite the feelings of spaciousness into your inner and outer worlds. Be generous in your engagements and expressions, within and without.

During this expansive time, fueled by super moons, there is a spaciousness that invites new kinds of optimism and confidence. It can also at times feel like there’s a lot going on and much to process.

Sense in to the Moon call for balance, and move in to center. It is time again to release; to let go of that which is no longer needed or no longer serves. Yes, time again to hone letting go practice.

Remember to ground daily (or hourly ;)) and breathe in expansiveness. From this practice comes your stability, your heart breathe, and the gifts of ease, connection and new insight.

As the Moon wanes, take some time outside of ordinary routine. Notice what doors are opening, what ideas come to you. Look again at those things that have been on the back burner. Now, with the spaciousness and the shifting that has been occurring, these may be ready to be handled with ease. Reflect on these as the Moon wanes and wonder what you may wish to bring forward as Moon wanes to Dark.

Imagine too how you might receive and express your insights under this and the coming two super Moons. How will you shine the wonder of you? Imagine…

Full Capricorn Moon

Greetings of a glorious Full Moon! (0425h pdt)

A ‘super’ moon and the first of three. ‘Super’ because Moon is closest to Earth in hir elliptical orbit so can seem larger and much brighter. Indeed we are especially bathed in Moonlight this season, from now to September.

Sun in Cancer, Moon in Capricorn. Water and Earth. With full moon close the tides will be high. Yes, emotions may rise. Elsewise much in the heavens speaks of shiftings & ‘challenges’ (another grand cross formation)

Draw on the wisdoms.

Water, fluid, buoyant, powerful, nourishing. Emotion, feeling. Strengths of feminine knowing, experiencing, expressing. Move in flow. Release, Receive, Release, Receive. Cleanse.

Attend to foundations. Nourish your roots, your ground. Earth, body, ancestors. Breathe all deeply within.

Express both Earth and Water this Moon.

It is a time to see, claim, and celebrate all that has been received, given, learned, and expressed this cycle, and all that has been carried forward from the cycles before.

The Light is bright from the Moon and, in the Northern Hemishpere, the days are long and bright as well. It is time to see all that is revealed by the Light. Seek out all those gifts, a multitude of kinds, that have graced you this cycle. Honor what you have done, and not done, in service to yourself, to others, to Earth.

It is time. Feel deeply in to the wonders and blessings of you in and of the world. Connect deeply to your ground. Express the fluid flow of your dance and the strength of your foundations.

Hum, chant, sing, dance, laugh, cry, be still and full. Honor and express it All. And, as always,

Half lit and waxing Moon

Greetings to you wherever you may be under this 1st quarter Moon

This 7th moon of the year is a time to love all things.

It is time to become spacious and full of the wonder in all creations.

Time to unfold, to unfurl, to express, to give form and to nourish the seeds you have chosen for this cycle. Time to actualize new ideas and forms different from what was before.

And yes! Mercury has gone direct (July 1st) but it will be some days yet (~July 15) before we are completely free of the retro-effect. Dive in but also step back to take the longer, bigger, reflective view.

As you express under the waxing moon, this yang, active energetic time, heed also the message of this half lit moon. Light and dark in equal measure. Action, creation. And stillness, reflection. Balance.

Make for yourself a place of pause. Time and space to take a breathe, to connect within, and to reflect on what has come into being, and what you now are bringing more into view under the increasing light.

Make time also each day to nourish body, feed the mind, and express your soul for the all of you needs tending.

In this time of the waxing moon, hone for yourself a tenor of alertness and relaxation simultaneously.  Call in the wisdom of WildCat.
