At the new Moon we were called to honor our knowing. Now Moon full in Sagittarius calls us to seek and distill the truth, and find deeper meaning. We are asked to bring more truth into the Light, stripped of felt burdens and illusion (Neptune square Moon; Saturn conjunct Moon). It is time to expand our understanding, amplify our inner wisdom (Jupiter direct today), and claim our personal power.

Shifts in the skies this week provide new momentum and optimism (Jupiter direct today); more playful curiousity (Mercury>Gemini); and a sweeter energy (Venus>Taurus). There’s more harmony (elemental ‘balance’), receptivity and confidence (Venus and Mars alignment). Yes, there’s a few possibly tricky transits here and there (eg Neptune and Saturn effects) but there’s lots of possibilities for shifts and action and ease (Grand Fire Trine). We know how to deal with the ripples along the way: stay present, trust intuition, and ride the waves. Overall, go with what moves with ease; take pause and have rest. Let your inner wisdom be your guide.

There’s been a lot of chaos and disorder about and it is time to create pause at this Moon. Now energies support releasing, and there is more ease and more flow.

Balance and harmony are the call of this waning time. Moon is half lit and elementals are pretty balanced. Other stabilizing energies summon harmony (Saturn-Uranus trine exact tomorrow – 2nd of 3) and help us to ground (Mercury in Taurus May16-Jun6). How purrfect for this waning Moon.

Waxing Moon half-lit in Leo

center, simplify, prioritize

Feels like the Earth-Sky energies are a bit wonky at the moment but with some recent shifts (eg Mercury moves direct tomorrow), something may begin to shake loose.

Waxing Moon half-lit invites us into the moment between dark and light in equal measure; between old beliefs/ways of doing (Saturn in Sag), and the healing that comes from understanding oneness in Spirit (Chiron in Pisces. NB continuing Saturn-Chiron square). Now is the time to immerse in the ‘middle way’ (esp since half-way point between equinox and solstice is less than 2 days away, May 4 0028 pdt exact).

Things are still moving slow (retrograde planets ). Use the opportunity to simplify and prioritize in preparation for flowing forward movement (Mercury>direct + waxing Moon). If keeping focus on the practical becomes difficult (Mercury-Uranus alignment), draw on the earthy energy beneath your feet. Rephrase ‘shoulds’ as ‘coulds’ and then decide what to choose.

The earthy and slow energy has been wonderfully grounding but I must admit I welcome the shift in elemental energies and rather more flow. Moon in Leo brings warm-hearted fire and the courage to be open to shifts and change. Feel into courage and warm-heartedness, and impress both into your Being.

beauty, ease & stability  ….. relax

Elemental energies are in relative balance (3 planets in each of Earth, Water & Fire; 2 in Air) which provides some energetic ‘evenness’ (Yay!) and overall stability (esp with Moon & Sun in Taurus + Mercury trine Saturn).

Moon (& Sun) in Taurus invites us to tune to the senses and find harmony in the physical world. Heart-centered Venus (Taurus ruler) calls us into the pleasures of beauty and nature. Taurus asks us to slow down, be patient, and enjoy all that is available in the present moment. Taurus teaches us there is wisdom in taking our own sweet time.

Although Moon is new, there is great wisdom in moving slow (4 planets still retrograde). Craft intentions with attention to details, and with a focus on simple pleasures. Open to receive new insights and new understandings (Merc-Uranus trine Saturn). Consider what new practices you may want to make habits (this is a time when habits can really ‘stick’ so you may also want to walk away from what no longer works ;)) However you proceed, stop to enjoy the view, breathe in freshness, and r-e-l-a-x.
