Full Moon in Libra & Lunar Eclipse

Greetings of Full Moon (exact at 0501pdt) in Libra and eclipse (exact at 0448 pdt)

The Moon is full in Libra and we have a shadow eclipse as well. The eclipse, in balance- seeking, peace-making, relationship -oriented Libra, extends the Equinox window and reinforces the need for balance in all our relations – with self, with others, and  with Earth. With Sun in Aries (self) and Moon in Libra (collective), we are called to attend to connections of all kinds – light and shadow; self and other; Earth and Cosmos; body and Spirit.

The ideal has been the energetic focus for both eclipses (by virtue of both Pisces and Libra tending towards idealism).Now, with a Jupiter-Saturn square occurring today, we are called to look closely at what we believe and what we desire. Time to look at our motivations, and the actions we are truly willing to engage to fuel our visions. This is a call to focus and hone our presence; and another balancing act between expansion (Jupiter) and limits (Saturn); between opportunities and boundaries.

We are being called to unite Self and the Mystery. To find the center point that energizes and nourishes; that empowers with action, and also deep rest and stillness. It is time to illuminate and deeply root partnership with Spirit. Time to reside within the wisdom that exists at the heart of your heart.

Moon waxing between Eclipses

The First Quarter Moon on Tuesday (@1003pst) was in Gemini and further waxed into Cancer later that day (@1756) where she continues to reside today.

We are between eclipses and the reverberations from the solar eclipse are still rippling in Pisces seas. Perhaps you have been feeling it – especially with the strong and potentially ‘whelming mutable squares occurring earlier this week – as sensitivities ride high with the solar eclipse.

Over the next few days through Equinox this weekend, line-ups in the skies bring a number of helpful and beneficial energies (trines, conjunctions). Venus in Pisces (as of Mar 12) brings love and compassion, kindness, idealism and optimism.   Invite in ease and creativity. Connect regularly with inner wisdom and inspiration. This eclipse cycle – with the next eclipse at the full Moon – is full of potential for shifting, healing, transforming and manifesting.

Stay present and calm and optimistic. Ground deep in your roots and keep your eyes on the bigger view – on joy and love and freedom and respect. Surround yourself with whatever reminds you of the goodness in the world. Open to this and receive the blessings of the energies of this time.

Moon dark-new + solar eclipse in Pisces

Welcome Moon Dark-New (exact at 1754pst) in Pisces and Solar Eclipse

Moon dark-new in Pisces is made all the more potent with the solar eclipse – and the fact that 5 planets are currently in Pisces (Sun, Moon Mercury, Neptune & Chiron). With all this watery energy, emotions flow close to the surface and are tides full. The eclipse magnifies the affect.

We are called to feel it all with openness and compassion.

Eclipse times often evoke intensive healing events: lots of openings and closings; releases and renewal; dances of shadow and light. The strong Piscean energy fuels imagination, creativity, dreams, and ideals. These are the tools we are to bring to the releasings, the healings, and the new ways of Being.

The eclipse of the Sun (ego/self) calls us to let go all that binds or limits us. Moon-dark marks the time of deepest dreaming from which we are called to bring new seeds into Being. Mercury (in Pisces as of Mar5) turns our attention to the symbolic, the imaginative and the intuitive and, especially now, to the emotional realm. Neptune draws us to attend to spiritual vision, and Chiron emphasizes the theme of healing that is woven throughout this energetic time.

Allow yourself to feel into emotions and let them flow. Keep focussed on all that you create and desire that is positive and good for you and Earth and All. Listen more deeply still to the guidance streaming from the heart of your heart, and act on that wisdom in the moment.

Draw on Earth energy to support and empower wherever the need is felt (Pluto in Capricorn); and to create new stories and images that re-enliven sacred ways of Being (Jupiter in Virgo).
