With five planets in fire signs, (Moon, Sun, Mars and Venus in Leo + Uranus in Aries) Fire energy is abundant and bright and exuding much heart. Ignition, movement, creativity, joy, excitement! Jupiter, planet of expansion, optimism and wisdom, has moved into Virgo earth supporting us in our deepening ground. Retrograde planets (Venus, Pluto, Neptune, Chiron, Uranus) are tuned to consciousness, power, evolution and more. It is time to integrate, synthesize and forge ourselves anew.

Creature Teacher: Canada Goose

It is the eve of the Last Quarter Moon…

 

T150806_c-geese10_flick-CROPx300hese last three nights, Canada Geese have flown overhead sounding their honking call. Tomorrow we will be half way (exact at 1256) between Solstice and Equinox and the Geese are beginning now to shift. Their calls echo the call of this Moon; a reminding.

 

It is time to remember our places and the stories they hold, and prepare for whatever new may be ahead. Both Goose and Taurus call us to attend to our voice. As you move into the deepening, I invite you to give voice to your sensing –hum, chant or warm-throated song.

Last Q Taurus Moon

Light and Dark in equal measure (exact at 1903 pdt).

 

Tonight the half-lit waning Moon is in sensual, practical and earthy Taurus. Soon there will be more earth energy available to us with Mercury & Jupiter moving into Virgo in the coming days (Aug 7th & 11th respectively). Mars joins Sun in Leo on Saturday (much happier in fire than watery Cancer) which can provide both some sense of release and some power for burning things up. What wonderful supports for this waning time.

 

Half-lit, Moon calls us to pause and attend to balance. Taurus Moon calls us to peace and comfort. It is time under the waning Moon to gather up and put-aside projects that were begun.

 

It is time now to release what has been done.
Time to slow down, relax, and let things Be.
Time to watch the ripples on the pond and the waves in the sea.
Time to scent the season, earth, flower, and air.
Time to rejuvenate and re-source
Time to nurture self-care.

 

Time to find the now moment
between what has been and what is to be
and shift gently into the deepening dark
Time to be nourished by the wisdom within –
your ever-present knowing and mystery.

Creature Teacher: Grasshopper

Last night a symphony of crickets/grasshoppers sang as soon as sun set and through to past this mornings dawning light. (Not really sure who was singing but both reside in the grasses).

 

Crickets are about beliefs and grasshoppers are about making leaps, and both teach us about listening to and trusting our wise inner voices. Let’s add their wisdom to the Blue Moon Dance and Sing the rhythms we are bringing into being!

Blue Moon in Aquarius

Ahhh, a full ‘blue’ moon
(exact Fri, July 31 at 0343 pdt)
in Aquarius.

 

I know that for many, recent times have been challenging (and sometimes frustrating or confusing) and often intense. Yes, given some of the planetary dances, it can be a bit of a whirl at times. Embrace the dance! Really! Get up and dance!

 

Dance with the intentions you hold for yourself and beyond
Expanding into greater fullness even more than you’ve dreamed

Let Aquarius wind blow away all that’s no longer required,
Let drift away without effort all old chains and old ways

Invite in the fullness of freedom and calm
of love and beauty and delightful wondering
