Welcome Moon Full (exact @0754 PST) in Virgo

… imagination, intuition, clarity, discernment

Today’s Moon is a super Moon and the largest appearing in 2019. Closer to Earth, the pull of the tides is stronger in the seas and in our bodies as well. We are impacted this week by both this superMoon and the movements of other planets. Overall, sensitivities are heightened (3 planets in Pisces); we are encouraged to work more with our intuition (Merc-Neptune); and urged to take new direct actions towards transformational healing (Chiron now in Aries). Fortunately, an abundance of Earthy energy helps us stay grounded and focussed (5 planets in Earth signs).

In the early degrees of Virgo, this Moon-full carries the energy of new beginnings even as we honour and celebrate all that has been completed. Virgo Moon gifts us with heightened levels of clarity and discernment; and enhanced ability to attend to details. She also helps us remain present and grounded; and to organize, manage and follow-through on our plans.

Somewhat contrarily, Sun now in Pisces (as of yesterday) calls us to feel, imagine, dream and flow with currents beyond time and space. Sun & Moon together challenge us to bring transcendent visions (Pisces) to Earth (Virgo). Fortunately, both Virgo and Pisces are mutable signs and, as such, are adaptable and thrive on change. Dancing together in harmony, matter and Spirit are interwoven; Earth and Water coalesce; and ethereal dreams are distilled and seeded in reality.

This is a time to honour all that has been given and received this Moon. It is also a time to make room for imagination, inspiration and play (Pisces); and to consider ways to plan and give structure (Virgo) to what arises from that engagement. In so many ways we are called to dream and to make a reality of those dreams.
