Here in the North it is the season of remembering.
Welcome Moon Dark-New

in Scorpio
deepening resilience,
transformation, metamorphosis,
rebirthÂ
… and the Cross-quarter days…
The cross-quarter days mark the point half way between Equinox and Solstice. At this time of year in the North it is Samhain; in the South, Beltane. While both these sacred times now have fixed dates by tradition (Oct 31/Nov1 and Ap30/May1), the actual cross-quarter this year is November 6 (exact @2050 pdt)
In the North at Samhain the energy calls us to immerse in the deepening dark, and transform what has been into sustenance for the future.
In the South at Beltane we draw on this sustenance and the increasing Light to flourish anew.
Wherever we are, and whatever our journeys may be, we are called to seek alignment with the natural rhythms of Earth and Cosmos. Time to tune to the Sacred. To Earth, Air, Fire,Water and Spirit. To their practical gifts and their abundant wisdom. To honour all that is offered, and to wonder at All that is hidden and revealed within.
