Greetings of Moon Half-lit (exact @0351 PDT) in Virgo (& in Libra @ 0529)

— nourishing pause & magical moments

Today’s first quarter Moon occurs on the last day of Gemini Sun. Moon is in Virgo at half-lit Moon exact, but moves into Libra shortly thereafter. Tomorrow Sun moves into nurturing Cancer AND it is Solstice, the day of longest light in the north, and longest dark in the south. Yes, things are shifting. Magical moments.

In Virgo, Moon highlights health and the practical aspects of well-being. In Libra the focus is on peaceful and equitable relations. Together with Moon half-lit and Solstice tomorrow, ‘balance’ is the keyword and unifying theme. Feminine energies, grounded Earth and flowing Water, support us in stillness and in motion (7 planets in Earth & Water signs).

We are called to pause (Moon half-lit) and move inward (Neptune now retrograde). It is a time for feeling into Spirit and inner wisdom. A time to be soothed and nurtured at the oasis (Cancer Sun). A time to recommit to the heart truth of our knowing (Solstice). Now, and throughout the summer (north)/winter (south), we are encouraged to look within to discover new resources; focus on what brings joy; and choose to enrich Life in all ways (strong and long Neptune & Jupiter trine).
