Greeting Waxing Moon Half-lit (exact 210219 @1047 PST) in Gemini

… pause, discern, activate …

Energy rises with the waxing Moon. Now half-lit we are called to pause and move ‘between’. Time to re-integrate, re-align and adjust balance. Time to review and clarify plans. Time to activate ideas and bring them into form.

And it’s a time to dance the challenge of opposites: dark/light (Moon half-lit); endings/beginnings (Pisces last sign of zodiac); dreams/reality, feeling/thinking (Pisces-Gemini); heart/ will (Venus-Mars SQ); old/new, slow/quick, restriction/freedom, stability/revolution, create/break, known/unknown, visible/invisible (Saturn/Aquarius-Uranus/Taurus. Yes, the times are in-tense. It is our ongoing challenge to strengthen our practices of grounding, calming, clearing, releasing. A time to be present, neutral and discerning; and, always, a time to attend to self-care.

Sun now in Pisces (as of yesterday) calls us to connect deeply with all that is; release illusions; and surrender to the flow. Pisces wants to be quiet; to Be rather than do; and to ponder, relax and drift. ‘Tis a season of moving inward. Gemini Moon, however, brings a restlessness; an intellectual curiosity about the world; and a desire and tendency to do more than one thing at a time. Though they represent a heart-mind struggle, both signs are adaptable, flexible and creative; and both seek to connect. Working together effectively they blend the detached world of mind, with feeling and spiritual calling. The combination of an intellectual, logical focus, with an emotional, intuitive grasp of the world, helps make our decisions much more solid.

It is time to go for what we want (Mars-Venus SQ) and work to bridge the divides between opposites (Saturn-Uranus). Time to delve into the Waters and let heart-made intentions take form. Time to breathe. Time to activate and time to rest. Time to search within, and time to engage with the world. Time to realign ourselves with Soul/Spirit; and to integrate and harmonize ourselves with all that is.
