Welcome waxing Moon Half-lit (exact 1@ 2049 PDT) in Virgo

— mind, balance, presence

Lots of new thoughts and ideas come flooding in with Sun’s move to Gemini – and of course the waxing Moon also opens us to more revelations hirself. Could get a bit ‘heady’ around here (Gemini & Virgo have active minds) and we may find ourselves flying off on flights of fancy (Gemini). Fortunately we are graced with strong Earth energy to keep us in-body and grounded.

Sun and Moon together ask us to devote our mental engagements to improving health, and on-the-ground efforts. Balance and presence is key. Virgo requires discipline and responsibility; Gemini requires freedom to change. Harmonizing and mutually nourishing their needs is what’s on call.

The energy of duality is heightened at this time (Moon half-lit + Gemini Sun) and we are called to look again at all that is opposite – light and dark, masculine and feminine, discipline and freedom, giving and receiving. We are invited to consider the dualistic nature of the world; the lessons to be learned; and the wholeness revealed in that which seems contrary. It is a time of wonder and discovery.
