Waning Moon Half-lit in Sagittarius

26 Feb 2019, by Fiona in moon&sky

Greeting Waning Moon Half-lit (exact @0328 PST) in Sagittarius

… reflect, release, nourish, renew.

Waning Moon half-lit calls us to pause in the moment between opposites. It is a time for reflection, and for finding the truth, harmony and balance among ‘opposites’: Light and dark (Moon half-lit); Fire and Water; masculine and feminine; external and internal worlds (Sagittarius/Pisces; Sun/Moon).

We are called to deep introspection (3 planets in Pisces) and to make peace with the past (Venus-S.Node conjunction). In Sagittarius, Moon asks us to broaden our ways of seeing. We are advised to trust our emotions (Piscean influence) and our intuition (Moon-Neptune square); and to focus on releasing whatever no longer serves (continuing Venus-Merc sextile)

Now is the time to finish up, organise, and put aside all that has been the focus of this cycle. It is time to slow (waning Moon + Mars in Taurus) and gather your wisdom (Owl, a Sag totem). It is time to dream (Pisces) and dance in the stars (Sag), and time too to take nourishment from deep Earth (stellium in Cap). Time to prepare for rest, renewal and rejuvenation in the feminine deep.

Waning Moon both dark and Light
time to tune to inner sight

Bathe your arrows in the stars
Feel what inspires who you are

Rest in the Waters and release
Be warmed by Fire and nourish peace

Nurture your Nature

with Love and Light

Wishing you sweet release,
intimate tunings,
beautiful imaginings,
& deep nourishment this Moon
